The opportunity - Te tūranga

As Executive Business Support Manager reporting to Chief News & Content Officer, you will be focussing on supporting and driving operational effectiveness for the Chief News & Content Officer and leadership team, ensuring delivery with purpose, pace and accountability.

It is a big and amazing role that spans department operations, compliance, financial management, supports cross-functional workflows and plays a critical role in enabling a One Team approach - ensuring teams and output are aligned with TVNZ's FY30 Strategy and Audience Strategy.

The focus in this role will be on Strategic & Operational support, leadership team coordination, governance and compliance, financial management, and team leadership of two direct reports.

To be successful in this role, we are looking for the following skills and attitude that align with our values

· Experience supporting Senior Executives & leadership teams in complex, fast‑moving organisations

· Wealth of experience in business and operations support in changing environments

· Strong understanding of finance, cost management and budgeting

· Experienced in travel management.

· Exceptional people leadership experience

· Organised with the ability to work at pace, juggling multiple tasks, priorities and stakeholder demands

· Demonstrates calm, adaptability, and resilience under pressure

· Clear communicator (verbal and written)

· Proactive - you will be one step ahead, anticipating what's needed, take initiative and present solutions and recommendations

· Strong collaboration skills required to work effectively across the organisation to drive alignment and delivery

· Discretion and adherence to confidentiality is critical - you will be trusted with confidential and commercially sensitive information
