HAO CAR RENTALS LIMITED operates a growing vehicle rental business and requires experienced management personnel to oversee daily operations, customer service, fleet management, staff supervision, and business development activities.

Type :Full time, Permanent

Hourly rate: $35- $45

Work hours: Minimum 30 hours /week Maximum 50 hours /week

Monday to Sunday

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organise, direct and coordinate the daily operations of the vehicle rental business to ensure efficient and profitable performance.
  • Organise the purchase, maintenance, registration, servicing and utilisation of rental vehicles and associated equipment.
  • Liaise with customers to determine vehicle hire requirements and provide advice regarding vehicle types, hire rates, rental terms and obligations.
  • Receive and manage bookings and rental orders, ensuring vehicles are allocated and available to meet customer requirements.
  • Arrange and coordinate the collection, delivery and movement of rental vehicles as required.
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing initiatives to increase vehicle hire revenue and expand the customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, respond to enquiries, and resolve customer complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Ensure vehicles are maintained in a safe, clean and roadworthy condition and comply with all registration, licensing and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage financial and administrative functions, including rental agreements, payments, budgeting, business records and operational reporting.
  • Recruit, train, supervise and support staff, including allocating duties, monitoring performance and coordinating work schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, company policies, occupational health and safety requirements and industry standards.
  • Monitor business performance and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, customer service and profitability.
  • Prepare operational reports, business records and management information as required.
  • Undertake other management duties as reasonably required to support the successful operation of the business.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years work experience in the same industry or Bachelor degree in any field
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to supervise and motivate staff effectively.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Strong organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage daily operations, vehicle fleet activities, bookings, and administrative functions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sound understanding of health and safety requirements and regulatory compliance.
  • Reliable, responsible, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when required.
