Mō Te Tūranga - About The Role

As a Product Owner in Technologies - Personal and Funds, you will be responsible for curating and managing a roadmap and backlog for our delivery squads, driving initiatives that transform the business and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Role Type: Two Fixed-terms (12-months and 6 months)

Role Location: Auckland or Wellington, New Zealand

Work Hours: Standard full-time, 37.5 hours per week

You will have the opportunity to:

• Deliver strategic, customer focused outcomes for your portfolio.
• Prioritise the roadmap and backlog of opportunities and tasks in line with strategic priorities.
• Maximise value of effort and output of the scrum teams you work with.
• Assist business analysts, testing, project management and delivery teams to align our strategic and business goals and our customer needs.
• Work with a vast group of Stakeholders, communicating on budgets and estimates for work and progress on delivery items
• Continuously improve agile practices across the portfolio.
• Role model customer centricity and the ANZ Values.

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

• Strong leadership experience, including a track record of delivering outcomes, and achieving results through others.
• Proven skill at delivering value for complex initiatives.
• Experience working in a real agile environment.
• Continuous drive to simplify processes, and strong focus on continuous improvement.
• Strong awareness of the banking and finance industry, trends and threats (technology, products, regulatory environment, competitors, innovations).
