About The Role
We have an opportunity in the Hawkes Bay for a junior Quantity Surveyor to join us.
Reporting to one of our Project Managers you will be responsible for the financial management of projects, setting and monitoring budgets, reviewing cost to complete, programming review, progress claims and variations, and financial reporting and systems.
You will be a key member of our team and get to work with some of New Zealand's most knowledgeable construction professionals.
To Be Considered For This Role You Will Have
- A minimum of 2 years' experience working on mid to large commercial construction projects
- A Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or similar relevant qualification
- Great teamwork and people skills. You'll be comfortable working with a wide range of people including clients, consultants and senior management.
- Excellent NZ contract law knowledge.
- Excellent financial literacy and exposure to Jobpac or a similar financial control package would be highly desirable.
- Advanced computer literacy; particularly in Excel.
