Site Supervisor

This is a full-time role with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week. The workplace is based in Auckland.

The Site Supervisor will support the planning, organisation and coordination of construction work on-site. The role involves assisting with the supervision of building activities, coordinating workers and subcontractors, monitoring work quality and helping ensure projects are carried out according to plans, specifications and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day construction activities on-site to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site staff.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements and promote safe work practices on-site.
• Monitor project progress and report to project managers.
• Manage on-site resources, including labour, materials and equipment.
• Resolve on-site issues in a timely manner to avoid project delays.
• Maintain quality standards and ensure all work meets project specifications.

The successful candidate must have:

• At least one year of relevant work experience in a similar field or a relevant NZQF Level 5 qualification.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Good planning and time management skills.
• Ability to work well with others and follow workplace procedures.
• A responsible work attitude and ability to work under pressure.
