Carpenter

We are currently looking for a Carpenter to join our team. You will be guaranteed a minimum of 30 hours weekly. It is a permanent full-time role based in Auckland City, Auckland region. The pay rate ranges from $26 – $28.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of commercial carpentry, including framing, formwork, fit-outs, and finishing.

• Read and interpret plans and specifications.

• Work on a wide range of carpentry tasks - framing, cladding, and finishing

• Get hands-on with high-profile builds across Auckland

• Perform quality checks to ensure the work is completed to a high standard

• Identify and manage hazardous materials

• Always follow workplace occupational health and safety procedures.

Good To Have

• 2 years of relevant experience in a similar field or minimum Level 4 qualification.
• Ability to work confidently.
• Good level of physical fitness and stamina.
• Strong awareness of workplace health and safety practices.
• Understanding of quality assurance and workmanship standards.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Desirable (but not essential)

• Previous experience working in residential, commercial, or civil carpentry environments.
• Experience operating construction plant, machinery, or equipment safely and effectively.
• Demonstrated willingness to undertake further training and develop advanced carpentry skills and technical knowledge.
• Commitment to obtaining and maintaining relevant industry licences, trade qualifications, and certifications to support ongoing professional development.
