About The Role
We are looking for a Contracts Administrator to join our Mercy team.
The Contracts Administrator role is responsible for ensuring the operational and administrative functions of fixed fee contracts (such as ACC) are carried out effectively, efficiently and within required timeframes.
This is a permanent, 1.0FTE (40 hours per week) position to be worked on Monday - Friday.
Specific Duties Include
- Administering and coordinating the processing of fixed-fee Surgical Contracts
- Administering and coordinating the processing of fixed-fee Clinical Services Contracts
- Support robust debt management
- Support quality performance processes
- Providing effective cover for other members of the contracts team
Skills And Experience
The successful candidate will bring excellent organisational and communication skills. You will also need to demonstrate the following:
- Proven experience in office administration, including accounts receivable and payable functions.
- Strong ability to manage variable workloads, set priorities effectively, and seek guidance when required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), web-based platforms, and proprietary accounting software.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Works collaboratively within a team and fosters positive working relationships
- Understanding of ACC processes, including surgical codes, billing and procedural requirements for elective surgery and clinical service providers is desirable.
