We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager - Technology to lead the delivery of strategic technology transformation initiatives that support T+T Group’s business strategy and Pathway 2030.

In this role you will drive the successful delivery of a portfolio of technology initiatives including cloud modernisation (Azure), cybersecurity &resilience, and integration. This role combines strong project leadership, governance, stakeholder engagement, change management, and benefits realisation to ensure technology investments deliver measurable business outcomes.

A key focus will be bridging the gap between business and technology teams, translating technical initiatives into clear business value while driving adoption, managing dependencies, and maintaining delivery confidence.

Ideally, we are looking for a practical, outcomes-focused project leader with the ability to navigate complexity, build strong relationships, and deliver results in fast-moving environments.

Kei te hiahia mātou ki ōu | What you'll be doing

  • Lead the planning and delivery of complex technology transformation projects.
  • Develop and manage project plans, milestones, risks, dependencies, budgets, and reporting.
  • Develop business case and benefit tracking measures
  • Ensure initiatives align with strategic priorities, business cases, and governance requirements.
  • Act as the key link between business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and delivery partners.
  • Facilitate stakeholder alignment, resolve delivery challenges, and manage competing priorities.
  • Drive business engagement, change readiness, adoption, and benefits realisation.
  • Provide clear reporting on project progress, risks, issues, financials, and outcomes.
  • Manage external vendors, partners, and technical subject matter experts.
  • Support technology assurance and risk management,

Nā Tōu Rourou / What You’ll Bring

  • 10+ years’ project management experience across technology and business transformation initiatives.
  • Proven track record delivering complex technology projects and programmes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • Professional project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
  • Strong project governance and delivery capability.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience leading organisational change, adoption, and transition to BAU.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable working through ambiguity.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Azure including Azure DevOps.
  • Passion for enabling business success through technology.
  • Experience within engineering, insurance, Fintech, consulting, professional services, or federated organisations will be highly regarded.
