With a team of approximately 30 engineers and tradespeople, they are known for practical problem-solving, strong workmanship, and a professional but down-to-earth culture. They need a qualified Engineering Tradesperson to join their team in a permanent, full-time position.

About the Role

  • General engineering, fabrication, installation, and maintenance work
  • Workshop and site-based project work across industrial and commercial environments
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
  • Stainless, pipework, structural, and general fabrication work depending on project requirements
  • Shutdown and project installation work as required
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship and safe work practices
  • Working independently and as part of wider project teams
  • Representing Bleeker & Weith professionally on client sites

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • A trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Fabrication, Fitting & Turning, or similar
  • Strong practical fabrication and engineering capability
  • Experience across both workshop and site environments
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Good understanding of engineering drawings and fabrication processes
  • Strong commitment to quality workmanship and safe work practices
  • Full driver's licence
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • The ability to pass drug screening

Preferred but not essential

  • Stainless fabrication experience
  • Pipework experience
  • Shutdown/project work experience
  • TIG welding capability
  • Site installation experience

In return, they offer:

  • Permanent full-time employment with steady workflow
  • Competitive remuneration based on skills and experience
  • Overtime rates paid
  • Employee benefits package including allowances and health insurance
  • Varied engineering work across workshop and site environments
  • Exposure to industrial, shutdown, and project-based work
  • A strong team of experienced tradespeople and practical leadership
  • Organised systems and structured workflow
  • Supportive team environment
  • Stable long-term opportunity with a business continuing to grow and invest in its people
