Role Summary
This is a great opportunity for an experienced cost accountant to join Hynds' commercial finance team. Working at the intersection of finance and manufacturing, you'll play a key role in ensuring product costing accuracy, supporting month-end processes, and partnering with operations to drive performance across our manufacturing sites.
About The Role
- Monitor key areas within manufacturing with a focus on BOMs, inventory, and costing accuracy
- Work alongside the Finance Business Partner – Operations to support and improve performance across Hynds manufacturing sites
- Ensure manufactured products are accurately costed and understand the impact on overall business performance
- Drive the raw material monthly stocktake process to ensure accuracy of BOMs and inventory
- Provide timely variance analysis and manufacturing data to support the operation of our facilities
- Assist with CAPEX analysis, finished goods stocktakes, and ERP improvement initiatives
- Work closely with operations staff to improve manufacturing efficiencies and build strong internal relationships
Skills And Experience
- 4–7 years' experience in cost accounting or manufacturing finance
- Strong understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation
- Solid month-end financial accounting experience and ERP system proficiency
- Advanced Excel skills with high attention to detail and analytical ability
- CA/CPA/CIMA qualified or working towards — background in manufacturing or FMCG preferred
