Business Administrator – Director of Nursing Portfolio
We're seeking an experienced and proactive Business Administrator to provide high-level administrative and coordination support to our Director of Nursing. This pivotal role supports organisational priorities through effective administration, document management, governance support, and coordination of people-related processes.
Te Mahi/About the Position
As a trusted support to the Director of Nursing, you will coordinate activities, manage documentation, support governance and reporting requirements, assist with recruitment and onboarding processes, and ensure the smooth delivery of key administrative functions. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation, exercising sound judgement, professionalism, and discretion.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Senior administration experience with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality support.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including the preparation of professional documents, reports, and presentations.
- Knowledge of HR administration processes and payroll systems.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and follow organisational policies, procedures, and standards.
- Experience managing documentation and maintaining accurate records.
- Sound judgement, problem-solving capability, and the ability to perform well under pressure.
