This is a high-impact Commercial Finance role sitting at the heart of our NZ business, partnering closely with Sales to drive performance across Retail and On Premise channels.

Role Details

The Commercial Finance Manager – On Premise and Retail NZ is responsible for providing financial and commercial insight into the profit performance of allocated accounts including trading terms review, promotional profitability, business plans and new business opportunities, and assisting the profit centre management team in making informed business decisions.

The incumbent will own and drive the key financial planning inputs into processes across S&OP, month end, forecasting, budgeting, and long-term forecasting. A strong collaborator, you will partner with the NZ Sales teams in making informed business decisions.

The role will work strategically, in providing financial and commercial insight into the profit performance for On Premise and Retail, and making recommendations where opportunities arise.

What You'll Be Doing

• Partner with Sales (Retail & On Premise) to provide clear, actionable commercial insight
• Own forecasting, budgeting, S&OP inputs, and performance rhythms
• Drive promo spend effectiveness, pricing decisions, and ROI analysis
• Translate data into real commercial recommendations, not just reportingImprove systems, reporting, and ways of working across the function
• Support customer reviews and help shape business plans

What We're Looking For

• CA / CPA qualified (essential)
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in a Financial/Commercial Manager role, in either retail, FMCG and/or within the liquor industry (preferred)
• Proven ability to influence non-finance stakeholders and drive outcomes
• Comfortable balancing hands-on delivery with continuous improvement
• Commercially sharp, pragmatic, and confident working in a fast-paced environment
