About the Role

Payments Tribe provides a secure environment enabling superior payment experiences to empower our customers with trusted payments. Within the Payments Tribe, we deliver and support enterprise-scale payment platforms that operate across multiple systems and squads, enabling resilient and future-fit payment capability for our customers.

As an Enterprise Test Lead, you will apply your payments domain experience and testing expertise to help lead squads in building, supporting, and maintaining our applications, while contributing to overall testing practices across programmes.

You'll be part of a programme or project at the forefront of delivering a secure, functional and performant ecosystem to our customers. Skills

We advocate agile, fully cross functional squads which will take you through all facets of engineering in any given day. We are looking for a mix of payments experience, test management and technical testing skills to support the following activities:

  • Creating agile testing strategies and plans
  • Fostering proactive and continuous improvements within the testing community
  • Working with key stakeholders for end-to-end testing and obtaining sign-off
  • Building and supporting test automation
  • Building and supporting performance testing
  • Reviewing requirements and specifications
  • Verifying and validating functionality being developed
  • Analysing and reporting test results

We are looking for an individual that will lead testing within a large programme of work. Someone who not only understands strong QA practice across automation and non-functional testing, but also someone who can provide leadership across squads. A person who can own and report overall test status and provide QA guidance to squads, leaders, and stakeholders.

Our technical environments drive continuous change for squads and customers to ensure we are delivering the best possible outcomes. You will work collaboratively with our squads and stakeholders to be the voice of test engineering and deliver better and safer payment experiences.

We Are Looking For Someone Who Has

  • Proven testing leadership across large or complex projects or programmes
  • Proven knowledge across functional, system, integration, API, end-to-end, automation and performance testing
  • Ability to manage and coordinate end-to-end testing across multiple squads and systems
  • Experience working with key stakeholders to achieve end-to-end testing and sign-off
  • Ability to create and maintain programme-level test strategies and plans, including automation and non-functional testing approaches
  • Capture, track and escalate status, risks and issues to management
  • Experience with test estimating, negotiating and prioritising work
  • Ability to provide test sign-off across coverage, execution, defects and risks
  • Strong stakeholder engagement across continuous delivery environments
  • Experience building sustainable, agile test processes that incorporate automation
  • Experience managing complex integrated environments and test data
  • Mentoring and guiding on testing standards and best practices
  • Technical capability across .Net, REST APIs, Selenium, BDD or similar automation tooling
  • Working knowledge of Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience fostering a culture of continuous improvement within testing communities

In Addition, The Following Would Be An Advantage

  • Payments, banking or financial services experience
  • Experience working across integration-heavy or platform-based environments
  • ISTQB certification or similar
  • Exposure to cloud technologies
