Welder

We are looking for 2 experienced Fabricators/Welders to join our team in Wellington to assist with manufacturing and production of products as required by our

customers. We are looking for experienced candidates who can read engineering

drawings and work from them. The successful candidates will be able to work alone

requiring minimal supervision. These are full-time roles where you will be working a

minimum guaranteed 40 hours per week.

In your role you will:

• Assist other tradespersons in the course of their work.
• Assist with the assembly of components as required.
• Complete on-site installation of components/assemblies
• Complete on-site mechanical service work and repair of equipment.
• Attend customer sites to measure up jobs as requested from time to time.
• Provide various types of welding and ensure that all tasks meet best practices.
• Have a willingness to be trained in various activities, participating in both internal

and/or external courses.

• Be part of a flexible call-out team.Complete any other tasks as detailed relating to the operation of the workshop facility in accordance with management requirements either on-site or at the customer’s site.

The successful candidate:

• Must be able to obtain and retain all security clearances required to perform your

duties.

• Will be subject to a pre-employment medical check and drug & alcohol screening test

which states you are fit to perform the duties required for this position.

• Have a min of 3 years of working in a fabricator/welder role.
