Mō te tūranga | About the role
As a Bulk Bitumen Tanker Driver with our Mount Maunganui team, you’ll transport bitumen products to customers across the North Island while also supporting general cartage and plant operations as needed.
This is a role for someone who takes pride in doing good work, values safety, and wants to keep building their skills in a team that’s friendly, and serious when it counts. You’ll be trusted to get the job done right, look after your equipment, and work alongside people who back each other every day.
Ngā tino kawenga mahi | Key role responsibilities
Safely transport bulk bitumen products to customers across the North Island, while supporting general cartage and plant operations as required.
Carry out work to a high standard, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and care for your truck, equipment, and wider plant.
Work closely with the wider crew to deliver reliable service, support site tasks as needed, and carry out the inherent requirements of the role.
Kei te kimi mātou i tētahi e whai ana i ēnei pūkenga | We’re looking for someone with
Extensive truck and trailer driving experience, along with a current Class 5 licence and ideally a D endorsement.
The ability to work unsupervised, stay flexible around work hours, and support occasional out-of-town work when required.
A strong commitment to safety, a good approach to the care and maintenance of trucks and machinery, and a willingness to help with occasional light labouring tasks.
A proactive, team-focused attitude, with a willingness to learn and keep growing.
