Structural Revit Technician, Draughting Team

We’re looking for a junior to intermediate Structural Technician with solid Revit skills to join our Christchurch team. This is a hands-on drafting and documentation role, supporting the delivery of structural projects across residential and commercial work.

About The Role

As a Structural Revit Technician, you’ll support the delivery of high-quality structural documentation across a range of residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

Working closely with engineers and senior technicians, your responsibilities will include:

• Developing accurate Revit models and structural documentation
• Supporting design development and detailed documentation phases
• Coordinating drawings and assisting with project updates and revisions
• Conducting site investigations and supporting technical reporting

You’ll be part of a collaborative team environment where you can build your Revit capability, gain exposure to a variety of projects, and develop your technical understanding over time.

About You

We’re open to a range of experience levels, ideally including:

• 3–6+ years’ experience in structural drafting/modelling using Revit
• Exposure to residential or commercial projects
• Conversant with relevant NZ Building Codes and statutory requirements
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
• A proactive attitude and willingness to keep learning
• Adaptable with excellent planning, organising and time management
• Enjoy working in a team environment and communicating with a wide range of people
