STMS
Fulton Hogan
Mō te tūranga | About the role
We’re looking for an STMS to join our Traffic team in Hawkes Bay. This is a hands-on role where you’ll lead temporary traffic management across a range of worksites, helping keep our people, customers and road users safe while delivering Good Work every day. You’ll be part of a team that’s flat, friendly and forward moving, where titles matter less than ideas and impact. If you’re someone who backs safe, quality delivery and likes being out where the work happens, this could be your next move.
Ngā tino kawenga mahi | Key role responsibilities
Lead and supervise temporary traffic management operations in line with approved plans, current requirements and Fulton Hogan procedures.
Oversee the safe set-up, maintenance, adjustment and pack-down of TTM sites, including signs, cones, barriers and other traffic control devices.
Participate in tailgates, pre-starts and planning meetings to support safe, effective traffic management on site.
Monitor site conditions and respond quickly to hazards, incidents, weather changes and anything that could affect safety or traffic flow.
Communicate clearly with crews, subcontractors, clients and other stakeholders to keep work moving safely and efficiently.
Carry out site checks, maintain accurate records, and stop work or escalate issues where unsafe conditions or non-compliance create risk.

Ko wai mātou | About us
At Fulton Hogan, Good Work is more than what we deliver, it’s how we show up. We work side by side, not top down. We take the work seriously, not ourselves, and we set a high bar while keeping things human. You’ll join a team that backs each other, shares ideas freely and knows when to switch on and deliver. Across New Zealand and Australia, we’re building, connecting and caring for communities, and we’re always looking for better ways to move forward.
