We are looking for someone proficient in Salesforce engineering and development. You will work as part of our team to design, build, and deliver scalable Salesforce solutions that align with stakeholder and customer needs. As part of the Engineering Practice at ASB Bank, we encourage our teams to work autonomously in an agile way while actively growing their skills and expertise to continuously improve outcomes for our customers.
Be passionate about delivering high-quality Salesforce technical solutions and driving engineering excellence across the platform. Strong communication skills are crucial for collaborating with stakeholders, contributing to solution design discussions, and ensuring successful delivery outcomes.
Ō Pūkenga | About you
You’ll have strong experience working within Salesforce environments and be confident articulating business requirements, translating them into functional solutions, and influencing delivery outcomes across the SDLC.
Your positivity, collaborative mindset, and excellent communication skills enable you to build strong relationships with stakeholders and share knowledge across teams to continuously grow capability.
As a starter for success, we’d love some of the following skills and experience:
- 5+ years’ experience working within Salesforce environments
- Design, configure, and develop Salesforce solutions using programmatic methods (Apex, Lighting Web Components)
- Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and platform events
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end delivery lifecycle
- Experience translating business requirements into robust technical designs, data models, and scalable solutions
- Proven ability to apply best practices for security, error handling, trigger development, and design patterns
- Certified or experienced working in Agile delivery environments
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications in Agile ways of working
- Good understanding of integrations and connected systems with strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
- Ability to participate in design sessions, contribute to solution documentation, and communicate effectively with both technical and business audiences
You’ll be passionate about delivering great customer outcomes and sharing your Salesforce knowledge with others to help grow capability across the practice.
