The NetSecOps team within the Ministrys digital department is looking for two motivated, inquisitive and passionate engineers, to take up the role of Network/Security Engineer based in our National Office in Wellington.
You Will
- Be involved in the ongoing lifecycle activities for services the NetSecOps team deliver - including Network Security, Endpoint Security and Identity Security
- Provide second level network support to users across our sites nationwide
- Provide eyes on glass for initial incident triage and escalation of network faults
- Attend sites (nationwide) and assist with physical installation of network equipment
- Work on technical delivery of projects both internal and external

To be successful you must be passionate about modern cybersecurity practises and solutions
- Have an interest in developing into a broad cybersecurity career
- Be comfortable to be part of a team who support and rely on one-another.
- Enjoy sharing technical expertise and exchanging ideas
- Have empathy and the ability to relate to a wide range of people.

- Fortinet FortiGate/Switch/AP
- Cisco Nexus
- Microsoft Defender Suite
- EntraID

Utu ā-tau/Salary
The appointing salary for this role will be between $88,455 and $113,639 based on skills and experience.
