We're looking for a marketing automation leader who is excited by what's next. Someone who sees beyond traditional CRM programmes and wants to build intelligent, adaptive customer experiences powered by data, automation and AI.

You'll help move us from static customer journeys and rule-based workflows to responsive, learning systems that personalise experiences in real time. If you're already experimenting with AI agents, orchestration platforms, automation frameworks or advanced customer journey design, we'd love to hear from you.

The opportunity

This isn't a role where you'll simply maintain campaigns.

You'll have the freedom to build new capabilities, test emerging technologies and influence how AI is applied across marketing and customer experience.

Reporting into the Head of Audience Development, and working across Product, Editorial, Commercial and Audience Development teams, you'll design and deliver customer journeys that drive registrations, engagement, loyalty and subscription growth.

One day you might be optimising lifecycle programmes in Braze. The next, connecting behavioural signals, data platforms and AI tools to create smarter, more adaptive customer experiences at scale.

You'll play a key role in shaping how Stuff uses automation and AI to better understand, engage and retain audiences.

What you'll bring

We're less interested in job titles and more interested in mindset. You might currently work in marketing automation, lifecycle marketing, CRM, audience growth, customer engagement or a related discipline.

You'll bring:

  • Strong experience designing and delivering customer lifecycle programmes
  • Expertise in customer segmentation, personalisation and journey orchestration
  • Experience with platforms such as Braze, Piano or similar marketing technologies
  • Strong analytical skills and a passion for turning insights into action
  • Experience running experiments, testing ideas and optimising performance
  • The ability to work across multiple teams and influence outcomes
  • Curiosity about AI, automation and emerging technologies

Bonus points if you're already exploring tools such as n8n, Make, Zapier, AI agents, orchestration frameworks or API-driven workflows.
