Purchasing Coordinator

We are seeking an Purchasing Coordinator to support purchasing and inventory operations across our retail stores.Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the Purchasing Coordinator will assist with purchasing activities, supplier coordination, inventory monitoring and stock replenishment across multiple retail stores.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor inventory levels, stock movement and purchasing requirements across multiple retail stores.
  • Prepare, process and track purchase orders to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
  • Coordinate deliveries and maintain effective communication with suppliers regarding orders, pricing and product availability.
  • Assist with sourcing products, obtaining quotations and evaluating supplier performance.
  • Analyse sales trends, inventory reports and stock turnover data to support purchasing decisions and stock replenishment.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing, inventory and supplier records.
  • Support product range reviews and inventory planning activities to optimise stock levels and minimise shortages.
  • Coordinate purchasing activities to ensure appropriate product availability across all stores.
  • Work closely with store managers to identify purchasing requirements and resolve stock-related issues.
  • Assist the Purchasing Manager with procurement administration, supplier coordination and purchasing projects as required.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, Project Management or a related field; or at least one year of relevant work experience.
  • Good organisational and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Competent computer skills including Microsoft Excel.

Minimum 30 hours per week
