Electrical Engineering Expert (AI Training)
About The Role
We're looking for experienced electrical engineers to help train and evaluate cutting-edge AI models. Your domain expertise will directly shape how AI understands and reasons through complex engineering problems — from circuit analysis to power systems to signal processing.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role where your technical knowledge has real impact on the next generation of AI.

What You'll Do
- Design challenging problems — Create advanced electrical engineering scenarios across domains like circuit analysis, power systems, electromagnetics, and signal processing to rigorously test AI reasoning
- Author gold-standard solutions — Write detailed, step-by-step technical solutions that serve as benchmarks for AI learning and evaluation
- Audit AI outputs — Review and evaluate AI-generated circuit diagrams, mathematical proofs, and technical explanations for accuracy, safety, and compliance with engineering standards (e.g., IEEE, NEC)
- Improve AI reasoning — Identify logical flaws in AI-generated responses and provide structured, actionable feedback that sharpens model performance on engineering tasks
- Work on your schedule — Complete assignments asynchronously, with full flexibility over when and how much you work
Who You Are
- Pursuing or holding a Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a closely related field
- Strong foundational knowledge in one or more core areas: VLSI, control systems, telecommunications, signal processing, or power electronics
- Able to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and precisely in writing
- High attention to detail when reviewing equations, circuit logic, and engineering documentation
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
- No prior AI experience required
Nice to Have
- Experience with data annotation, data quality review, or evaluation systems
- Familiarity with embedded systems, robotics, or engineering simulation tools
- Exposure to large language models or AI research workflows
