Kiwibank is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our Transformation Office in the Party & Mandates Work Stream. In this pivotal role, you’ll lead parts of analysis, design, and implementation of business initiatives that shape the future of our products and services.

We're looking for a Senior Business Analyst who blends business, data and critical thinking to define end-to-end system flows, contribute to innovative solutions, and translate this into buildable requirements. Alongside core Senior BA responsibilities, this role ensures solutions are shaped by both business needs and data logic, not just system connectivity.

For this role we’re looking for a Senior Business Analyst who thrives on solving complex problems, improving processes, and turning business needs into actionable outcomes. We would love to hear from you if you have experience in the following:

• Extensive business analysis experience (ideally in banking, payments, or similar environments)
• Strong analytical, research, and facilitation skills—able to lead workshops and clearly document requirements
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• Stakeholder Engagement & Management, with a focus on Customer Impact
• Hands-on experience with Confluence and Azure DevOps (ADO)
• Track record in process improvement, quality assurance, and delivering solutions in complex, multi-disciplinary environments
• Operational Risk & Agile Delivery

Proven ability in some of the following areas:

• Identity and Access Management (IAM)
• Mandate Management & Relationship Mapping
• CRM Integration & Customer Servicing Automation
• Enterprise Process Mapping & Compliance Frameworks
• Functional and Non-Functional Requirements
• Auditability, Access Control, Data Modelling, and handling Complex Relationship Structures
• Business Process Analysis & delivering Business Solutions
