About the role

Skills Institute is looking for a friendly and organised Campus Administrator & Receptionist to join our Wiri campus in a permanent part-time role (25 hours per week, Monday-Friday).

As the welcoming face of the campus, you'll support students, staff, and visitors while providing a wide range of reception and administration services. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their administration career in a supportive, people-focused environment where no two days are the same.

What you'll be doing

  • Welcome students, visitors, and staff while managing reception enquiries
  • Answer calls, respond to enquiries, and provide exceptional customer service
  • Support student enrolments, records management, and administration processes
  • Coordinate mail, couriers, stationery, and campus supplies
  • Assist with student ID cards and learner administration activities
  • Support campus events, graduations, open days, and industry visits

What we're looking for

  • Previous administration, reception, retail, hospitality, or customer service experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service with a friendly and professional approach
  • Good organisation skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning new systems
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise competing demands
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
  • Full New Zealand Driver Licence
