Āu Mahi | What You Will Do
The Bachelor of Arts at Te Whare Wānanga o Waitaha | University of Canterbury (UC) has three compulsory courses which provide students with a key foundation for success: WRIT101 Writing for Academic Success; ARTS102 Questions, Problems and Evidence; MAOR165 Tuakiri: Culture and Identity. Together with the course coordinator and the broader teaching team, you will run workshops in WRIT101, teach & lecture as needed, coordinate and support the tutorial team, and help ensure that WRIT101 connects well with the other compulsory courses in the BA. Alongside this, together with the Executive Dean, Associate Deans, and broader academic team, you might be asked to engage with new initiatives focused on student success.
There might be opportunities occasionally to teach into other courses outside of the BA compulsory schedule, which sit in your main areas of academic expertise and interest.
