The role
As a Service Coordinator, you'll be the heartbeat of our passenger train operations, ensuring the entire network runs smoothly. No day is ever the same. You'll oversee real-time train movements, manage unexpected time critical incidents, and coordinate with various teams to maintain seamless service to the people of Wellington as follows:
- Oversee the rail network to detect and respond to network disruptions in real-time.
- Coordinate daily crewing to ensure timely and accurate crewing requirements.
- Work with key stakeholders KiwiRail and Hyundai Rotem during disruption management to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Assisting with the management of planned and unplanned bus replacement operations at Wellington station.

- Willingness to work shift hours on a 24/7 rostered schedule.
- Proficient in evaluating current practices and implementing necessary changes or corrective actions.
