Development Manager

PowerNet is looking for a Development Manager to join our team in Queenstown.

This is a unique strategic role focused on helping shape the future of energy in one of New Zealand’s fastest-growing regions. Working across Queenstown and neighbouring areas, you’ll lead conversations around electrification and decarbonisation, build trusted relationships, and help identify opportunities that support long-term regional growth.

You’ll represent both Lakeland Network and PowerNet locally, partnering with councils, developers, businesses, and the community to help turn energy ambitions into action.

We’re looking for someone with electricity industry experience, strong commercial thinking, and deep connections in the Queenstown region. You’ll bring a proactive mindset, excellent stakeholder skills, and a passion for supporting sustainable growth and energy transition.
