CHARGE HAND | Permanent Full-time | Palmerston North

$28.60 per hour plus night rate ($3.21 per hour from 8pm to 6am)
Shift: Monday - Friday 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM

Your previous experience in an operational environment will stand you in good stead and a fork-hoist licence will be advantageous. It goes without saying that you will have a commitment to excellence and proactive attitude to a team providing services at the highest possible standard. You might be in a similar role and looking for a change, or you may have been told that you are ready and able to step up into a supervisory position.

As a Charge Hand You Will Be Required To

Ensure that courier products, parcels and mail are sorted according to set KPI's and criteria.
Work closely with the processing Team Leader to ensure that our operations are consistently smooth, efficient and safe during the shift.
Support the staff and give clear directions to the team.
Perform daily warehouse tasks as required

What You Need To Bring With You

Ability to lift 20-25kgs in a physically demanding environment
Have an F endorsed or Osh approved forklift license (desireable)
Ability to lead a diverse team and support accordingly
