Are you an experienced CCTV Operator looking to move into a leadership role? Do you have a passion for infrastructure and leading high-performing teams? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Tauranga branch as an Operations Supervisor.

About the Role

As our Operations Supervisor, you will lead and coordinate a team of Driver Operators, Hydro Excavator Operators, Flusher Operators, and CCTV Operators, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll be responsible for planning and coordinating daily operations, managing staff, and supporting the delivery of critical infrastructure inspections and maintenance programmes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of specialised operators

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily works and project activities.

  • Prepare and manage staff rosters and resource allocation.

  • Monitor operational performance and ensure productivity targets are achieved.

  • Promote and maintain a strong health and safety culture.

  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Review inspection findings and support the identification of faults, defects, and infrastructure issues.

  • Ensure equipment and vehicles are maintained and utilised effectively.

  • Support recruitment, performance management, and staff development initiatives.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a CCTV Operator within the underground infrastructure, drainage, or utilities sector.

  • Previous leadership, supervisory, or team-leading experience is advantageous.

  • Strong planning, scheduling, and organisational skills.

  • Excellent communication and people management abilities.

  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

  • Sound understanding of health and safety requirements.

  • Full New Zealand Driver Licence (Class 2 or higher preferred).
