Are you a strategic organisational development leader who knows how to turn business strategy into practical people and performance outcomes? We’re looking for a Head of Organisational Development to help shape leadership capability, workforce effectiveness and organisational performance across Powerco.

This is a pivotal leadership role within People, Safety & Culture, reporting to the GM People, Safety & Culture. You’ll lead enterprise-wide OD priorities, guide leadership and capability frameworks, and help ensure the business has the systems, rhythms and ways of working needed to deliver strategy consistently in a safety-critical environment.

What You’ll Do

• Lead organisational development across the business to strengthen leadership capability, team performance and organisational health.
• Partner with senior leaders and in collaboration with the People & Culture business partnering team to shape and deliver OD priorities that improve strategic execution and long-term capability.
• Design and govern enterprise frameworks including organisational design, leadership expectations, capability pathways, performance systems and learning rhythms.
• Provide trusted advice on organisational effectiveness, accountability, team dynamics and ways of working.
• Lead the OD and Learning & Development functions to deliver practical, business-aligned initiatives that lift performance.

What You’ll Bring

• Significant organisational development experience in complex, enterprise environments.
• A strong track record designing and embedding leadership, capability and performance frameworks.
• Confidence influencing senior leaders and translating strategy into measurable business outcomes.
• Experience leading teams and integrating OD, learning and leadership systems.
• Strong judgement, commercial awareness and the ability to work effectively in a regulated or operational environment.
