Chemistry Masters – AI Data Trainer
About The Role
We're looking for chemistry experts to help train and improve the next generation of AI models. Your deep knowledge of chemistry will directly shape how AI understands, reasons through, and solves complex scientific problems — making a real impact on the future of science and technology.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role designed to fit around your existing commitments — whether you're finishing your degree, working in research, or exploring new opportunities.

What You'll Do
- Design challenging, graduate-level chemistry problems to rigorously test AI performance across domains such as organic chemistry, biochemistry, physical chemistry, and chemical engineering
- Develop clear, step-by-step solutions with rigorous logic and sound scientific reasoning
- Evaluate AI-generated responses for scientific accuracy, depth of reasoning, and quality
- Collaborate with researchers to refine and improve benchmarks spanning undergraduate through Master's-level chemistry
- Provide structured, actionable feedback that helps improve AI model outputs over time
Who You Are
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a closely related field
- Strong problem-solving skills across advanced chemistry domains
- Able to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and precisely in writing
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently
- No prior AI experience required — we'll get you up to speed
Nice to Have
- Experience with data annotation, evaluation, or quality assessment workflows
- Familiarity with AI language models or benchmark development
- Background spanning multiple chemistry subdisciplines
