We have an opportunity for a Product and Pricing Analyst to join our team at North Wharf in Auckland. This is a great role for someone who enjoys working with data, solving problems, and gaining exposure across different parts of the bank.
Te Tūranga | The role
As a Product and Pricing Analyst, you will sit within our Pricing team and contribute to the development and delivery of pricing strategies across Personal Banking.
Your work will help shape pricing decisions and outcomes through data-driven analysis, reporting, and insights. You will operate at the intersection of data, finance, and product, giving you broad exposure to how the bank runs.
In This Role, You Will
- Generate data insights and analysis that inform and shape pricing decisions
- Build and maintain reporting and dashboards that support pricing outcomes
- Prepare materials and reports for pricing forums and executive committees
- Manage and maintain pricing tools, documents, and processes
- Support pricing changes end to end, working across teams including technology, risk, marketing, operations and finance
- Provide ad hoc analysis and respond to pricing queries from the business
This role will primarily support home lending, while also contributing across other product areas as needed.
It is a busy and varied role with both strategic and operational elements. It offers strong exposure across the business and is a great stepping stone for future growth.

We Are Looking For
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with data and draw practical insights
- A commercially minded approach and interest in financial outcomes
- Experience or exposure to tools such as SQL, R, Python, Excel, Tableau or PowerBI is helpful, but not essential
- Confidence working with stakeholders and the ability to explain ideas clearly
- A collaborative approach and ability to build relationships across teams
If you have a background in finance, analytics, economics, or a related field, that will help, but we are equally open to candidates who bring strong learning ability and a growth mindset.
