Peketā Campground is on an exciting journey, upgrading our core facilities to enhance our visitor experience. We're looking for a hands-on, motivated Campground Manager to lead our small team and help shape the future of this unique coastal retreat.

About The Role

As the Campground Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Peketā Campground, ensuring a welcoming and well-maintained environment for guests. Your role will include:

• Leading and motivating a small team to deliver excellent customer service.
• Managing bookings, administration, and general business operations.
• Overseeing and delivering site maintenance, cleaning, and general upkeep.
• Rolling up your sleeves to assist with hands-on tasks as needed.
• Ensuring health and safety standards are met.
• Working varied hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Remaining onsite some nights as part of our team roster.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience managing or operating a business, preferably in a campground, hospitality, or accommodation management context.
• Has experience in financial management of a business.
• Is great with guests, and knows how to lead a team.
• Is practical and proactive, enjoying problem-solving and getting stuck into the day-to-day tasks.
