Carpenter

We are looking for 10 dedicated Carpenters to join our team based in Auckland.

This is a full-time, permanent position with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week.

The ideal candidates will be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced construction environment, maintain high standards of workmanship, and work well within a team.

Your tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine materials, dimensions, and installation procedures
• Select and order timbers and materials, prepare layouts, and assemble prepared wood into structures ready for installation
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble timber, including cutting wood joints
• Erect frameworks and roof framing, lay sub-flooring and floorboards
• Nail fascia panels, sheath roofs, fit exterior wall cladding, and verify trueness of structures
• Install doors, windows, architraves, skirting boards, and wall linings
• Construct concrete formwork as required
• Carry out repairs to existing fittings and perform maintenance on residential properties
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe worksite
• Work collaboratively with project managers, subcontractors, clients, and other trades
• Comply with all company Health & Safety policies

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, or a relevant Level 4 qualification (preferred)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and reference check from a previous employer
