Project Manager - Property & Buildings

We’re looking for a Project Manager to join our established Christchurch team, supporting the delivery of a diverse portfolio of Property & Buildings projects across the region.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to step into a role where you’ll take ownership of project delivery, working alongside experienced professionals and clients to bring complex projects to life.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for supporting and managing projects from initiation through to delivery and close-out. You’ll also:

  • Manage projects to ensure delivery on time, within budget and to the required quality standards
  • Prepare project plans, briefs, specifications and fee estimates
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and project teams
  • Communicate key project updates, risks and progress clearly and proactively
  • Support financial management including budgeting, forecasting and invoicing
  • Identify opportunities to add value for clients and contribute to project success
  • Apply structured project management methodologies while maintaining flexibility to suit project needs

You’ll play a key role in helping deliver high-quality outcomes that make a real impact on our communities.

About you

  • You’ll be a proactive and organised Project Manager who enjoys working in a collaborative environment. You’ll bring:
  • A relevant qualification in Property, Engineering, Construction or a related field
  • Experience in project management within a consultancy or built environment context
  • An understanding of project delivery frameworks, contracts and risk management
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A client-focused mindset and a solutions-oriented approach
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification (or working towards) is advantageous
  • A current, clean driver’s licence
