Marketing Coordinator – Global Wave Group

Location: Albany, Auckland (Office based)

Reports to: Marketing Leader

Purpose

The Marketing Coordinator will support the planning and execution of offline marketing initiatives, including campus events, brand activations, exhibitions, and promotional activities. This role involves managing event materials end-to-end, coordinating logistics, ensuring brand consistency, and supporting on-site event execution to enhance brand visibility and user engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Event Material Management

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of marketing and branding materials.
  • Coordinate with designers and production vendors across design, sampling, printing, and delivery processes.
  • Ensure all materials meet brand visual standards and quality requirements.
  • Maintain material inventory, selection updates, and replenishment plans.
  • Plan transportation, logistics, and booth setup timelines according to event schedules.
  • Work with internal and external teams to ensure consistent brand presentation.

Event Execution Support

  • Assist in planning and executing various offline marketing events such as campus fairs and brand activations.
  • Handle on-site logistics including material transport, booth setup, coordination, and attendee registration.
  • Support event photography, check-in processes, engagement activities, and brand exposure tasks.
  • Collect event feedback, organise photo assets, and prepare post-event summary reports.

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related fields.
  • Experience in financial industry branding events is a plus.
  • Prior experience with event execution or marketing material management is preferred.
  • Familiarity with vendor management or procurement processes is beneficial.
  • Photography and basic video-editing skills are an advantage.
  • Strong execution capability, communication skills (Chinese & English), and time-management abilities.
  • Able to collaborate with both New Zealand and overseas teams.
  • Strong sense of aesthetics with sensitivity to brand presentation, visual materials, and packaging details.
