CSC is currently seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated, team player to join our Capital Markets team as a Senior Client Relationship Officer with strong organization and communication skills to manage the administration of a portfolio of companies and partnerships from formation to closure in accordance with company policy, assisting the Capital Markets team with project work and training, and such other responsibilities as required.

Some of the things you’ll be doing

  • Independently manage a busy portfolio of companies and partnerships
  • Process correspondence and administrative matters from intermediaries, clients, regulatory bodies and external service providers relating to the assigned portfolio of companies and partnerships
  • Interpret board and shareholder resolutions and to update and provide statutory registers and other documents, including Register of Directors and Officers and Register of Members
  • Prepare and file documents with government agencies and regulatory bodies in a timely manner so as not to incur penalties
  • Maintain ViewPoint, Salesforce, KYCP, COWT, and Laserfiche to assist with maintaining the database's integrity, updating such as and when necessary
  • Carry out reviews on the assigned portfolio of companies and partnerships and to escalate issues and opportunities identified thereby
  • Prioritise client requests (24 hours response time) and attend to general correspondence with the Registrar of Companies, CIMA, attorneys, and third-party service providers
  • Contribute to the revenue growth of the team by accurately recording time and identifying opportunities for cross-sell and up-sell
  • Ensure that all statutory filings are attended to within the required deadline and in accordance with local legislation and regulatory requirements, including FATCA and CRS
  • Consistently monitor and minimize receivables while ensuring timely settlement of all invoices
  • Develop effective working relationships with clients and business partners
  • Assist with the collection of know your client (“KYC”) information, including obtaining satisfactory due diligence on directors, shareholders and partners in liaison with the Compliance department
  • Assist with ad hoc projects
  • Share best practices with team members and contribute to the review of policies and procedures
  • Provide cover for other team members

What technical skills, experience and qualifications do you need?

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of two years relevant industry experience in legal, trust or company administration
  • Analytical - Ability to accurately review documents and files for necessary data, check records for accuracy, update documents to completion and retrieve data to answer questions
  • Corporate Governance – Understanding of corporate governance, relevant local regulations and best practices
  • Knowledge - Demonstrated knowledge of the regulatory requirements and local laws relevant to the administration of corporate structures; Administers corporate entities and is aware of the types of corporate entities within the Cayman Islands; Awareness of FATCA and CRS, Beneficial Ownership, and Economic Substance.
  • Reporting – Communicate clearly and objectively on work completed and status of client matters
  • Training – Ability to guide and assist junior team members with new skills and knowledge that will enhance their product and add value to the client service offering
  • Experience in successfully working as part of a team
  • Proven experience in successfully administering Cayman Islands companies and partnerships
  • Demonstrable knowledge of various types of corporate structures and understanding the difference between such
  • Understanding of corporate governance, relevant local regulations and best practices
  • Experience in successfully liaising with clients, regulatory bodies and third-party service provider via telephone and/or email
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365
  • Experience of CORIS, CAPS, and REEFS.

At CSC, Compensation depends on several factors, including job location and the knowledge and experience of each individual. A reasonable estimate of the range is 75,000 KYD – 85,000 KYD

Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience in legal, trust, or company administration.
  • Analytical skills to review and update documents accurately.
  • Knowledge of corporate governance, regulatory requirements, and local laws.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and experience with CORIS, CAPS, and REEFS.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proactive approach to work, initiating tasks without direct supervision.
  • Agility to adapt to changing tasks and increased workload.
