```Duties```

• Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and materials required
• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes
• Utilize construction estimating software (such as Bluebeam) to create comprehensive estimates
• Research and evaluate subcontractor bids and proposals
• Negotiate pricing with vendors and subcontractors to ensure competitive bids
• Review project budgets and provide cost control recommendations
• Monitor project progress and make adjustments to estimates as needed
• Prepare and present estimates to clients, highlighting key project details and pricing breakdowns

```Requirements```

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred, but not required
• Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating principles, practices, techniques, and software
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications
• Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Familiarity with project management concepts and tools
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word
• Must be able to pass a drug test.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
