The Opportunity: We're looking for a proactive Regional Marketing Coordinator to take ownership of campaign delivery across the Christchurch and South Island region. We offer flexible working and can shape the role around what works for you — let's have a conversation. The one fixed point: activations run when people are out and about, so weekend availability is mandatory and a core part of this role. You'll be the go-to person on the ground — making sure activations run smoothly, Brand Ambassadors are supported and performing, and clients get the standard of delivery Orbit is known for.

What You'll Do

Campaign delivery

  • Coordinate regional campaigns from prep through to execution
  • Manage kit logistics, courier movements, and local storage
  • Provide on-the-ground support and shift cover during live campaigns

Lead the team on the ground

  • Schedule and fill shifts using our staff management system
  • Train Brand Ambassadors online and in person, with a strong sales focus
  • Conduct in-store visits, mystery shops, and quality checks to drive results

Be the regional point of contact

  • Act as the primary contact for BAs across the region
  • Troubleshoot issues in real time to keep campaigns on track
  • Capture imagery and complete reporting accurately and on time

About You

  • Highly organised with sharp attention to detail
  • A self-starter who takes ownership and runs with it
  • Clear, responsive communicator
  • Comfortable juggling multiple campaigns and deadlines
  • Solutions-focused under pressure

Don't tick every box? Apply anyway. No background in events or field marketing? That's okay — if you're organised, a strong communicator, and ready to roll your sleeves up, we'll set you up with the training and tools to succeed.

Must-Haves

  • A valid full NZ driver's licence
  • Your own reliable vehicle (regional travel is a core part of the role)
  • Availability to work weekends (when most campaigns run)

Why This Role Works

  • Work on leading NZ brands and high-profile campaigns
  • Trusted to manage your own day-to-day
  • Variety: no two weeks look the same
  • Backed by a supportive national network of coordinators and managers
  • Competitive pay, KiwiSaver, phone, laptop, fuel card, and ongoing professional development
