The role
You’ll Work With Kiritaki Who Have Experienced Moderate To Severe Brain Injuries, Providing Psychological Input Across The Rehabilitation Journey. Your Work Can Include
- Psychological and neuropsychological screening assessments
- Behavioural management planning
- Risk assessments
- Psychological intervention for mood, adjustment, and emotional regulation
- Whānau hui and discharge planning
- Training and consultation within the interdisciplinary team
- Contributing to psychological formulations and reports
About You
We welcome psychologists at all career stages who bring:
- Registration with the NZ Psychologists Board
- Postgraduate training in psychology (clinical, health, neuropsychology or related)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Sound clinical reasoning and confidence with risk assessment
- Interest or experience in brain injury, mental health, or behavioural work
- Commitment to culturally responsive practice
If you’re early in your career, we can support you with supervision, training, and pathways toward becoming an ACC Named Provider for Psychological Services and /or Neuropsychology contracts.
