The Role
This is a pivotal leadership role reporting to the Group Financial Controller, responsible for leading the billing and accounts receivable function. You’ll lead a team of six direct reports (team leaders with indirect responsibility for a wider team), driving improvements in performance, capability, and consistency across billing operations.
Responsibilities
Evolution Healthcare is currently undergoing a period of transformation, making this an exciting opportunity to be involved in systems, process improvement, and strategy as part of the leadership team. In this role, some of the key responsibilities will include:
- Lead and develop a high-performing billing function across multiple business units
- Actively manage complex operational issues and day to day delivery.
- Enhance leadership capability by mentoring, supporting, and developing team leaders to achieve strong performance outcomes.
- Build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and system enhancements where appropriate
About you
Skills
You’ll bring leadership and technical capability across accounts receivable and billing, along with the confidence and communication skills to work across a complex organisation. This role will suit someone who has experience driving process improvement, automation, and system optimisation. You will ideally possess the below skills and experience:
- Proven experience leading end-to-end Billing or Accounts Receivable functions
- Strong leadership capability
- Highly organised and detail-oriented to ensure accurate and timely billings.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate complex environments
- Experience in healthcare or complex, multi-entity environments (advantageous)
