As a Residential Administrator, you'll be a key part of our multidisciplinary team, providing a wide range of administrative services that keep our residence running smoothly. No two days are the same — from reception duties to payroll support, your work will help create a safe, supportive environment for rangatahi.

  • Experience in administration or customer service
  • Confident using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Great communication skills — written and verbal
  • Strong relationship-building abilities
  • Excellent time management and planning skills
  • A collaborative team player with initiative and a sense of humour
  • Able to manage competing priorities and adapt to change
  • A clean, current full driver's licence

About the Residence | E pa ana ki te Kāenga

Te Puna Wai is one of five Youth Justice residences across Aotearoa, operating 24/7 to support rangatahi aged 13-19 who have been charged with or convicted of an offence. Our vision is to provide a culturally focused, therapeutic, and restorative environment where rangatahi can reconnect with their whānau, hapū, iwi, and culture — and build the skills to thrive. We focus on positive change through education, vocational training, and therapeutic and cultural programmes grounded in Te Ao Māori.
