More recently, they have expanded their strategy to include development of retail, hospitality, tourism and residential projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the month-end process
  • Undertake monthly variance analysis with Property and Facilities Managers
  • Prepare IFRS adjustments
  • Support treasury reporting and cashflow forecasting
  • Prepare and file GST returns and assist with broader IRD compliance
  • Support with the audit process
  • Drive process improvement and find efficiencies
  • Lead, mentor and develop a team of two

About You

  • Fully qualified, or working towards (CA, CPA etc.)
  • Multiple years relevant accounting experience in a similar role
  • Property or real estate sector experience preferred, but not essential
  • People leadership experience, or ready to take that next step
  • Strong communicator, comfortable engaging across finance and non-finance stakeholders
  • High attention to detail with the ability to juggle competing deadlines
