Mō te Tūranga | About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Manager – Compliance and Conduct to join our Group Risk team in Auckland.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for leading the delivery of compliance and conduct risk programmes across SkyCity. You’ll drive the implementation and embedment of policies, standards and controls, ensuring risks are effectively managed across both day-to-day operations and major change initiatives.

Acting as a trusted advisor and Line 2 Risk Partner, you’ll work closely with senior leaders to provide independent insight, constructive challenge, and clear guidance on compliance and conduct matters. You’ll also step in as deputy to the Compliance and Conduct Lead when required.

• Leading end-to-end compliance and conduct risk programmes, including policy implementation and control frameworks
• Managing the compliance incident lifecycle, including triage, escalation and resolution
• Overseeing whistleblowing processes (Safe2Tell) and associated investigations
• Delivering practical, risk-based advice to leaders across the business
• Driving control assurance, reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
• Supporting reporting and insights for Senior Leadership and Board Risk & Compliance Committee
• Championing a strong risk and conduct culture across SkyCity

Mōu | About You

• Extensive experience in risk, compliance or legal roles within a regulated environment
• Proven track record leading compliance or conduct risk programmes
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and risk management practices
• Ability to influence, challenge and partner with senior stakeholders
• Highly developed critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building capability
• A self-starter who can work at pace, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality outcomes

Experience in areas such as financial crime, conduct risk or whistleblowing frameworks will be highly valued.
