We have an opportunity for a Data Business Partner to join our Customer Remediation space, where you’ll help deliver fair, transparent, and high-quality remediation outcomes for our customers.

Mō te tūranga | About the role

As a Data & Analystics Business Partner within Remediation, you’ll sit at the intersection of data, business, and regulatory outcomes.

You’ll partner closely with remediation teams, risk, and technology stakeholders to ensure data is trusted, understood, and effectively used to support remediation activity—helping identify impacted customers, quantify impacts, and enable accurate, timely delivery.

This is a role where your work directly contributes to restoring customer trust and improving how we prevent issues in the future.

Ngā mea ka mahia e koe | What you’ll do

  • Partner with remediation programmes and business stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into practical solutions
  • Support the identification, validation, and analysis of customer impact using data insights
  • Ensure data used in remediation is accurate, complete, and aligned to agreed methodologies
  • Help define and document data requirements, logic, and assumptions underpinning remediation activity
  • Work with data, technology, and governance teams to resolve data issues and root causes
  • Provide clear, evidence-based insights to support decision-making and regulatory obligations
  • Contribute to remediation planning—ensuring data considerations are understood, prioritised, and delivered
  • Support strong data governance, controls, and documentation throughout the remediation lifecycle
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to uplift data quality, processes, and capabilities

You’ll Bring

  • Experience in data analysis, business partnering, or data delivery roles
  • Strong ability to translate complex data into clear insights and actions
  • Experience working across business and technology stakeholders
  • A solid understanding of data quality, governance, and controls
  • Comfort working in environments with risk, compliance, or regulatory requirements
  • A structured, detail-oriented approach with strong documentation skills
  • Confidence to challenge constructively and influence outcomes
  • A customer-first mindset with a focus on fairness and transparency
