We’re looking for a multiple
Chapter Leads within our Project Management craft to lead and uplift project management capability at scale. This is a leadership role where you’ll shape standards, grow capability, and drive predictable, high-quality delivery across complex environments.
Te mahi ki ASB | What you’ll do
Reporting to the Chapter Area Lead, you’ll lead a cohort of project management practitioners, ensuring strong capability, clear standards, and consistent outcomes across the chapter.
You’ll play a key role in lifting delivery maturity, embedding sustainable ways of working, and partnering across the organisation to support enterprise priorities.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Leading capability and standards Building strong project management capability and embedding consistent, high-quality delivery practices across the chapter.
- Coaching and developing people Growing practitioner capability through structured coaching, feedback and development planning.
- Quality and risk stewardship Ensuring delivery quality while proactively identifying and managing risks to protect outcomes.
- Stakeholder Influence and partnership Partnering effectively across the organisation to enable aligned, efficient delivery. Whilst applying sound judgement to influence decisions and lift delivery outcomes and capability.
- Leading in a matrix environment Navigating competing priorities and dependencies to deliver in a complex, fast-paced environment.
- Engagement and culture Role modelling inclusive, collaborative leadership that drives accountability and team engagement.
- Driving continuous improvement Embedding structured change and uplift to strengthen delivery practices over time.
- Tooling and enablement Supporting fit-for-purpose tools (including AI) to improve transparency, efficiency and outcomes.

- Deep experience leading project or delivery professionals in complex, large-scale environments
- Expert-level capability in project management, planning, dependency management, and delivery orchestration
- Strong knowledge of agile, waterfall and hybrid delivery approaches
- Proven experience managing third-party and supplier delivery
- Advanced coaching, communication and influencing skills
- Strong risk awareness and ability to maintain quality outcomes
- Commercial acumen and ability to influence at a senior stakeholder level
- A calm, credible and outcomes-focused leadership style
