Product Owner – Transaction Monitoring
At ASB, our purpose is simple: to help our customers and communities get ahead. We focus on creating meaningful banking experiences that build financial wellbeing, while continuing to evolve how we work through smarter, more effective ways of doing things. Our people are at the heart of this, working together to deliver outcomes that support the growth of Aotearoa New Zealand.
The Financial Crime Tribe plays a key role in protecting our customers, our communities, and the wider financial system from fraud, scams and financial harm. It’s a fast-moving and evolving space, where teams work across technology, data and risk to respond to emerging threats and changing regulatory expectations. You’ll be part of a collaborative environment with a strong focus on quality, engagement and delivering work that makes a real difference.
About the team | Mō te tīma
The AML and Transaction Monitoring team focuses on the platforms and capabilities that help identify and respond to suspicious activity. This is a critical area within financial crime, with a direct link between the work delivered and protecting our customers and the bank.
The team builds and enhances systems that support transaction monitoring and meet anti-money laundering requirements. There is a strong focus on clear sequencing and structured delivery, with leadership roles helping shape direction and build capability. You’ll be working in an environment where clarity, consistency and collaboration matter, with the opportunity to influence how the team grows and delivers over time.
