We’re looking for a Chapter Lead - Business Analysis to provide people‑centred leadership, lift professional capability, and ensure consistent, high‑quality business analysis outcomes across delivery.

Te mahi ki ASB | What you’ll do

As a Chapter Lead, you’ll be accountable for the capability, performance and development of Business Analysts within your chapter, operating confidently in a matrix environment and balancing people leadership with craft excellence.

You Will

  • Lead a high‑performing Business Analysis chapter, lifting capability, consistency and professional maturity.
  • Embed and govern business analysis standards and ways of working to ensure high‑quality outcomes.
  • Coach and develop practitioners through clear feedback, development planning and role modelling.
  • Oversee quality and delivery risk, identifying issues early and supporting effective resolution.
  • Partner with stakeholders and delivery leaders to enable aligned, value‑led outcomes.
  • Influence decisions through strong judgement and critical thinking.
  • Lead effectively in a matrix environment, balancing priorities, dependencies and demand.
  • Strengthen change mindset thinking and contribute to tooling and AI adoption across the craft.

You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience leading or coaching Business Analysts within complex delivery or transformation environments.
  • Strong expertise in business analysis practices, including requirements management, solution assessment and business process modelling.
  • Advanced capability in coaching, feedback, decision‑making and influencing across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Sound judgement in risk management, with the ability to identify issues early and act decisively.
  • Experience working successfully in a matrix model, managing competing priorities and delivery demands.
  • A collaborative, people‑centric leadership style that brings ASB’s Care, Courage and Curiosity values to life every day.
