Clinical Business Intelligence Manager (AI Training)

About The Role

What if your expertise in clinical analytics could directly shape how AI understands and interprets healthcare data — at scale, for millions of patients? We're looking for an experienced Clinical Business Intelligence Manager to lead a team building the dashboards, models, and insights that connect complex clinical data to real-world healthcare decisions.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. You'll work alongside world-leading AI research teams, bringing your deep domain knowledge to one of the most impactful intersections of healthcare and technology.

  • Organization: Alignerr
  • Type: Hourly Contract
  • Location: Remote
  • Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

  • Lead and mentor a business intelligence team in designing and delivering dashboards, reports, and analytics that support clinical and operational decision-making
  • Maintain and optimize BI infrastructure — including data models, SQL queries, and reporting pipelines — ensuring accuracy, reliability, and performance at scale
  • Analyze clinical, operational, and performance datasets to surface meaningful trends, support leadership decisions, and improve care delivery
  • Translate complex healthcare data into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance standards are upheld across all BI outputs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align analytics strategy with organizational goals and AI training objectives

Who You Are

  • Experienced in healthcare or clinical analytics, business intelligence, or data management — you know how to work with messy, real-world clinical data
  • Proven track record designing and managing BI systems, including dashboards, reporting pipelines, and complex data models
  • Comfortable working with clinical, operational, and administrative datasets in regulated healthcare environments
  • Strong communicator who can bridge the gap between data and decision-making at every level of an organization
  • Self-directed and dependable when working independently across distributed, asynchronous teams

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or AI evaluation workflows
  • Familiarity with LLM training pipelines or AI model development processes
  • Background in health informatics, population health, or value-based care analytics
  • Experience with tools such as Tableau, Power BI, dbt, or similar BI and data transformation platforms

Why Join Us

  • Work on cutting-edge AI projects alongside leading research labs and AI teams
  • Fully remote and flexible — structure your work around your life, not the other way around
  • Freelance autonomy with the depth and meaning of high-impact, expert-level work
  • Direct exposure to advanced LLMs and how frontier AI models are built and trained
  • Contribute to work that sits at the frontier of healthcare, data, and artificial intelligence
  • Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
