About The Opportunity
We are on a journey of growth and have an exciting opportunity for an Adviser Distribution Manager to join our vibrant and collaborative Distribution team. You will play a key role in achieving our growth and elevating quality standards through strategic adviser relationship management. You will work in conjunction with the rest of the Distribution Team to determine the best strategies to grow and support our external advisers to deliver these strategies throughout the country.
This role is based in our Auckland office. Travel is a requirement of the role as our advisers are based across the country, and you will be responsible for planning and managing your own in-person and virtual meetings.
As an Adviser Distribution Manager, you will:
- Manage relationships with existing advisers and onboard new advisers.
- Support advisers with business development strategies.
- Provide advisers with necessary technology, product, and industry training.
- Represent the company at various industry forums throughout NZ.
- Provide key-note speaker or workshop services to industry bodies and/or adviser organisations throughout NZ where required.
- Provide insights on competitor offerings and activities.
About you
You are a proactive and goal-driven business development, sales or relationship management professional, with a passion of driving growth and building strong relationships.
As a natural networker and influencer, you excel at building rapport and strong effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders and partners.
Prior experience in financial services or insurance industry is not essential. What we are looking for is your ability to deliver outstanding service and support our partners and advisers in achieving their goals, contributing to our shared growth and long-term success.
Additional attributes that may help you succeed in the role:
- Maintaining your current Financial Adviser status (or obtain NZ Financial Services Level 5 Qualification in Insurance or equivalent within 12 months of employment)
- Strong understanding of Insurance Distribution network and management
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Good management skills and ability to prioritise workloads
